this may seem ridiculous but every time we had our recess time my learners would quickly buy their snacks outside and come back to school to watch fairy tale films or horror movies/clips. and I do watch with them and even interact by pausing the film and asking them what was happening in the story in that way I will know that they were paying attention to every detail they’ve watched and even predict and conclude an ending. And that signals me to insert the next lesson since the learner’s attention is at its peak and their curiosity is still there.

I don’t use GoNoodle at this time because they are already would up after recess and lunch; I just want them to sit/relax, cool down, etc. I don’t want too much extra activity at this time. I try to use a different one each day, rotating through, but scheduled so the students know what to expect. Thank you for posting!
